— Administrative & Special Projects —

Andrew Song

Hello! This is Andrew Song. This will be his third year at Pepperdine as a Sports Medicine major on the pre-medicine track. For the past nine years, he has lived in Eau Claire, Wisconsin with his loving parents and four amazing siblings. Some of his interests include neography and typography, as well as dabbling with 3D modeling, graphic design, and recreational data entry. He plays saxophone for Pepperdine’s Jazz Ensemble, though scheduling conflicts make it unfeasible this fall semester. One of his favorite activities on campus is helping out with Celebration Chapel and the Well with their technical setups. This will be his first year on the Board’s Administrative and Special Projects committee!


Mariella Chmaj

Hi Hi! This is Mariella, and she is a senior at Pepperdine studying Political Science and English. She is a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) and fluent in ASL, which inspires her passion for advocacy and community building. She serves on the Administrative and Special Projects team for the Student Programming Board, where she helps plan events that connect students across campus. She is also the Director of DEI for both the Pepperdine Democrats Club and Alpha Phi International Fraternity. When she’s not organizing events, you’ll find her exploring coffee shops, writing, or catching a Malibu sunset with friends.

Kyla Randle

Meet Kyla! She was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a senior at Pepperdine University majoring in Political Science with a minor in History. As a child, she has been very active in community service and enjoys helping and supporting others. While attending Pepperdine University, her commitment of service has allowed her to join and hold positions in numerous clubs including being President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. This is Kyla’s second year on the Board serving on the Administrative and Special Projects team. She looks forward to being behind the scenes of planning and hosting events and most importantly, being able to engage with students and the vibrant Pepperdine community.

Bella-Soleil Lange

This is Bella-Soleil Lange and she is excited to serve as an event planner on the Student Programming Board! This year, Bella is a junior, Integrated Marketing Communications Major. She is originally from Boca Raton, Florida, but also grew up in the Bahamas and Germany. On Pepperdine’s campus, Bella is involved in the board, Delta Sigma Pi, and also serves as a Chapel Leader for Faith and Business. Some of her various hobbies include ceramics, hiking, Pilates, cooking, and spending time with the people she loves. Bella-Soleil is so excited for a year full of fun events!


Ruth Oppong

Meet Ruth! Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Ruth is a senior at Pepperdine University majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurship. With roots in both El Salvador and Ghana, she embraces the best of both worlds—drawing strength, creativity, and resilience from her multicultural background. Ruth is passionate about fashion and design, using her artistry to build connections and celebrate identity. She has also studied abroad in Florence, Italy, where she gained a deeper appreciation for culture and global perspectives. In her free time, Ruth enjoys traveling, modeling, sketching designs, and spending time with loved ones. This is her first year on the Board, and she is excited to bring her unique perspective and energy to the Pepperdine community.


Brantley Holladay

Hello hello! This is Brantley! She is a senior Integrated Marketing Communications Major minoring in entrepreneurship. If you meet Brantley, you will immediately be told about her love for her hometown of Nashville, TN. When she is not planning events for the Board, Brantley is hanging out with her friends. She loves to grab a matcha and talk, picnic on the beach,  swim in the ocean, and spend time outside. Her favorite activity to do with her friends is to go to the In-and-Out by LAX and watch planes land. Brantley is so grateful to be serving on the Board again this year and to learn more about event planning through organizing the Reel Stories Film Festival in the Spring with Michelle!


Michelle Wang

Hi!! Meet Michelle! She is a junior studying Integrated Marketing Communications and originally from Diamond Bar, California (LA area). This year she is especially excited to be part of the team working on Reel Stories! Outside of school, you can usually find her hanging out with friends, cafe hopping, or planning my next trip (London!!). She’s also involved in Delta Sigma Pi (DSP), Pepperdine’s business fraternity, which has been such a great way to connect with people. She can’t wait for an amazing year and to see you all at the events!

Chloe Mawuenyega

Meet Chloe! She’s a Junior studying integrated marketing and communications here at pepp! From the Gold coast of Ghana, Chloe loves spending time at the beach and searching for new matcha spots with her friends. She’s extremely thrilled to be working with this wonderful team on the Board this year and can’t wait for you all to see what she and Camille have planned for Pacific sounds!


Camille Tesoro-Rarangol

This is Camille! Camille is a Senior studying biology on the pre-med track — Born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu. You can find her sipping on a cup of coffee (or the occasional chai or matcha), enjoying beach bonfires or dancing with friends. Camille also loves watching the sun rise and the sun set and can’t make up her mind which one she loves the most. She enjoys exploring new places and experiencing new cultures! Camille is beyond excited to be serving on the Board again this year (yay!), and has some big plans with Chloe for Pacific Sounds!!



Kendal Forester

This is Kendal! Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee but soaking up her senior year on the west coast!! She is studying French and International Studies because of her passion for travel and learning about other cultures. In her free time you can find her at Point Dume taking a sunset hike or on a late night In n Out run! She is so excited to be an event planner on the Board this year to help integrate students into Pepperdine’s wonderful community.

Nyah Fernandez

Meet Nyah Fernandez, a senior at Pepperdine University majoring in Communication with a minor in Public Health. She is from Los Angeles, California, and is thrilled to return to the Board as an event planner again year. Her goal is to infuse the campus with smiles, laughter, and joy through vibrant events that foster friendships and create memorable experiences. When Nyah isn’t busy planning exciting campus activities, you’ll likely find her enjoying the beach, dancing to her favorite tunes, or spending quality time with family and friends. A passionate traveler, Nyah seizes every opportunity to explore new places and embrace the world’s wonders.

Mason

Meet Mason! Mason is a junior with a 3/2 engineering & physics major from LA. He’s excited to be on the marketing committee again this year and looks forward to bringing more people to their events. When he’s not working with the committee, he’s brainstorming for the next Pepperdine Fashion Association fashion show. In his free time, Mason plans photoshoots and frequently switches up his hairstyle. 


Caitlyn Garcia

Meet Caitlyn! She is a senior with double major in Film and Public Relations from Torrance, California. This year, as a returner, she is excited to be part of The Board’s Marketing Committee. Caitlyn is looking forward to creating memorable posters to capturing every event on campus! In her free time, she enjoys being outside, especially going to the beach with friends, watching movies and sports, trying new food, arts & crafts, and traveling! ( I highly recommend visiting JAPAN) She is so excited for what is in store this year. She looks forward to you meeting y’all at the event. 


Liana Berejikyan

Hi! Meet Liana! Liana is a senior majoring in Integrated Marketing Communication. Although she grew up in Los Angeles, she is also a transfer student from Sugar Land, Texas. Liana is a proud member of the marketing committee on the Board and is so excited to help put together amazing events that can help students find their community and feel at home here at Pepperdine! In her free time she loves to read, try new crafts, go to the beach, and hang out with her family and friends. Liana can’t wait to see what amazing things this year has in store and she is so thankful to be here!


Grashely Ramirez Retamozo

Meet Grashely! She is a senior majoring in Integrated Marketing Communication at Pepperdine University. This year, she is excited to serve on the Student Programming Board’s Marketing Committee, where she hopes to bring creativity and fresh ideas to every event. Passionate about design and social media, Grashely loves creating content that connects students and captures the fun spirit of campus life. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, discovering new music, traveling, and spending time with friends. She also loves exploring new food spots and expressing her creativity through design projects. Grashely is looking forward to an amazing year full of events and memories, and she is so thankful to be part of the Board!

Kayla Hanna

Hey! Meet Kayla. She was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. As a Pepperdine Alum, she is happy to be back studying for her masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. This is her second time on the Board, as she started as an event planner. As the Board graduate assistant, she is excited to help lead the Board team in planning events for the students on campus. When not commuting to and from Pepperdine, you can find her hanging out with her family and friends.


Lou Chan

Lou is super into puns, speaks fluent Google Cal, got both her Bachelor’s and Master’s at Pepperdine (#neverleaving?), and organizing channels on Slack is just one of her favorite pastimes. It’s round eight for Lou being part of our Board fam - Grad Assistant her first year and now the Supervisor and Assistant Director of Student Activities, so you could say she ~graduated~ into her new role :) (remember that note about the puns?) Even in her free time, she truly lo(u)ves all things event planning, most recently showcased by her recent wedding and marriage to husband, Nate - as Pepperdine sweethearts at that!
